The 68th Zonta International Convention in Copenhagen 2028

Zonta District 13 is proud to announce that Copenhagen, Denmark, has been chosen as the host city for the 68th Zonta International Convention in 2028.

The announcement was made on May 3, 2025, in Copenhagen by Zonta International President-Elect Fernanda Gallo-Freschi, during her visit to the Zonta European Interdistrict Seminar. The news was met with great excitement by Danish Zontians and members across Europe who were gathered for the seminar.

This is a historic moment for Zonta in Denmark, and a unique opportunity to welcome thousands of Zontians from around the world to our region. Hosting the convention will allow Denmark and District 13 to share our commitment to gender equality, inclusion, sustainability, and active civic engagement – values that are deeply rooted in both Danish society and Zonta’s mission.

The successful bid was made possible thanks to a strong collaboration between Danish Zontians and Wonderful Copenhagen, who provided expert support throughout the bidding process and hosted Zonta International’s representatives during their site visit.

District 13 also extends a heartfelt thank you to the many Zonta members in Denmark who have worked tirelessly since the idea was first presented and approved at the national meeting in September 2023. Their dedication and enthusiasm have been essential in bringing this vision to life.
